Grace will Always be Greater than Sin

God’s grace will always be greater than sin,
For the bible tells me so.
For every sin ever committed and every transgression,
On that hill at Calvary His blood did flow.
You see the devil spends every moment accusing,
At times we grow so weary from the heaviness.
And when we feel as though we will crumble underneath it,
We cry out to Jesus and He takes it away with such gentle finesse.
Because He said whoever comes to Him, He will in no wise cast out,
What comfort for our soul knowing He’s always there.
Not to condemn us for our mistakes,
But to take upon Himself, as Peter said, our every care.
Know this oh troubled soul that God doesn’t condemn but convict,
Our sin He wants to forgive and forget forever.
As His Word teaches, He wants us to prosper and be in health,
The only condition being even as our soul doth prosper.
That is why He gave us the gift of His grace,
Undeserved favor from the Mighty God our Creator.
His grace will always be greater than our sin,
And it’s best we realize that sooner rather than later.
Even the chief apostle Paul who accomplished more than many others,
Said “By the grace of God I am what I am”.
And to come boldly before His throne by grace,
That we may find mercy to help in time of need is the plan.
Remember O saint of God that His grace is undeserved favor,
And the only way it can fail is if you quit trying.
So any thought, feeling, words or emotions enticing you to give up,
Is just more of the devil’s intolerable lying.
So no matter how bad you think what you’ve done wrong might be,
Do yourself a favor and let God be the Judge; it’s not your place.
Because Jesus was bruised for our iniquities and wounded for our transgressions,
Never stop seeking Him with a repentant heart and you will always find His grace.
