When the road gets rough,
And the hill gets steep.
When the valley gets wide,
And the troubled waters get deep.
You’ll find Him there.
When the world’s on your shoulders,
And the stack of bills climbs high.
When everything is falling apart,
And you’re so sick you could die.
You’ll find Him there.
When you’re weary from your travels,
And your hope is all but gone.
When it seems like nothing is working,
And you’re desperate and all alone.
You’ll find Him there.
When you’ve tried everything you know to do,
And seemingly you still can’t stand.
When the walls of despair have closed you in,
And you need a helping hand.
You’ll find Him there.
When you’re in the den of lions,
Or the fiery furnace of a king.
When you’re joy is withered away,
And you’ve lost your will to sing.
You’ll find Him there.
Hold on child of the Most High God,
He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Jesus Christ the same today, yesterday and forever,
He promised and His Word is true.
You’ll find Him there!
